Ishmael (remember him?) e-mailed me this morning about the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame. The 2000-2001 KHS Boys Basketball team that went undefeated has been nominated for the the possibility of induction for 2011 under Greatest Alaska Sports Moments. Joe Floyd is also up for the vote although I really thought he was already in.
Meanwhile in Nikiski, a 28-year old dude in his grandparents' attic broke TWO records for Super Metroid, a game that came out in 1994. That's right I'm thinking HOFer, first year of eligibility. Does JOTR get a vote? Has he been drug tested for Preparation H?
