Chris Gray Retires

Talk about The-Player-Nobody-Talks-About, a mainstay of our line for for forever. Well, a decade, but that is near eternity in the NFL for an offensive lineman. Chris Gray had to hang it up after injuring his spine last week. No. 62 has been as solid as the counter tops at The Bar That Is Little and it is sad to see him go. I remember walking behind him at a bowling fund raiser yelling "I have a blocker," with a stiff arm out and Miller tucked under my other arm. Let's go get this man a ring in February! Thanks for yer service, Chris.

Also gone were the remaining single game tickets sold this morning at 9am and gone by 9:15am just like I said they would. I think this is a flawed system. I know its great to be able to call or log in over the net but I think they should sell these precious remaining tickets only at the stadium box office. I'd set up some security and velvet ropes in front of Qwest and have the hardcores stand in line which would reduce the number of on-line scalpers buying seats just for resale. In fact I'd coordinate with every team in the league to do this the same day at the same time so no Stubhubbers could scoop up so many tickets. And instead of being able to get six, I'd spread the wealth and only allow two.

GO SEAHAWKS!
