Watching the Seahawks-Raiders preseason game last Thursday, Warren Moon whipped out a promo for a new addition to Qwest Field this season called Kangaroo TV. This lil bad boy is a 4" TV with DIRECTV® and the NFL Sunday Ticket package that you can rent while you sit (or stand if you are in Section 122, home of the hardcore) at the live game. In fact you can even watch the game you are at and get replays. The football gods have shined upon the SoDo. It also has real time fantasy stat updates from nfl.com which as I know and you may not is always one of the drawbacks of being there in person. I like to track the crushing of my enemies, see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentation of the women. Thank you Conan the Barbarian.
Anywho, the service is $25 per game for chumps, $109 for a season but just $80 for pimp players/season ticket holders such as myself. The Dolphins also have this in place but charge their season ticket holders $120. Sucks to be them.
Kangaroo TV is by World Audio Visual Entertainment Systems (WAVES,eh) straight outta Canada, the country east of America. The device got its start at auto racing events including, barf, NASCAR.
And before anyone asks, as far as I know it does not show porn.
